June 6th – Capri

Today’s Kona Cotton color of the day is Capri. Capri is a light blue-ish green like the waves of the ocean.

As a teenager, I never owned a pair of Capris. At least, not until I had been married for over a year and had my first child. I just never understood the point for them and I didn’t find them so fashionable although I knew a lot of girls in school who loved wearing them in the summertime. It just wasn’t the look for me at the time. Now, I’m just like…. meh. I can take it or leave it.

But this quilt below is something special. This free pattern was made with Kona’s 2019 Color of the Year – Splash. But just imagine how great this quilt would be with Capri instead. I know, awesome right??! Take a look and use your imagination with our color of the day. It just has that somethin’ somethin’, ya know?
