Today’s Kona Cotton color of the day is Shadow.
This color surprises me a little, because I assumed that if you were going to have a fabric called Shadow, it would be a bit darker than this lighter grey color. No matter. Peter Pan should always be happy that he found his shadow, just like we have found ours.
In our Shadow Quilt (our first pattern release), We use a black and a grey. But we could do an alternate color way, with lighter colors and this shadowy grey. Let’s try it.
So with the Shadow color being such a light grey, I paired it with much lighter colors, such as breeze, aloha, summer pear, orchid, cloud and capri. It has a much softer overall appeal.
