July 31st – Kelly Green

Today’s Kona Cotton color of the day is Kelly…. as in Kelly Green. As in a deep rich, almost dark green that can be paired with blue, purple, violet, light green, light blues…etc.

Don’t believe me? See below. Isn’t it gorgeous? I love this quilt pattern. It’s one of my fav’s right now! And if you’re named Kelly…. you’ll be happy to be drafted in to the “royal” family…. well, of colors, that is.

According to Google, kelly green was named after a common Irish family name – kelly and is commonly associated with St. Patrick’s Day.

What would you pair with kelly green? Let us know in the comments below. What’s on your cutting table today?
