October 29th – Grapemist

Today’s Kona cotton color of the day is Grapemist.

If I had to choose a favorite color it would probably be Grapemist. It is always hard when someone asks my favorite color because the answer usually happens to be whatever color I am using at the moment. I am currently working on a few projects. One is a Snowflake quilt in Metal, Lighthouse, Black, and White and if you asked me my favorite color I would probably say Lighthouse. My other project has mainly teals with a touch of light purple and if you asked me my favorite color while I was working on that project, I would probably say teal was my favorite color. So for me it is hard to narrow down a favorite color. What is your response when asked about a favorite color?

You can’t go wrong with today’s color. Grapemist is a cross between a blue and a purple. It is a soft lavender color that just speaks to me. I know we have featured this quilt before, but I just can’t help falling in love with it all over again. I really should add this to my list of projects. How about you? We can certainly kit this quilt for you.
