November 29th – Periwinkle

Today’s Kona Cotton color of the day is Periwinkle. This is a light blue with soft purple undertones to it. Similar to yesterday’s only lighter. Diane would say that this is one of her favorite colors. Don’t get me wrong… she is still the lady in GRAY and prefers gray colors above others, but she does love other colors too and I know she would gravitate to this one.

Vinca is a genus of flowering plants in the family Apocynaceae, native to Europe, northwest Africa, and southwest Asia. The English name periwinkle is shared with the related genus Catharanthus. Wikipedia
