It’s Been a Long Time Coming!

When you have a dream that you work towards hoping that someday you will be able to make it a reality, there is nothing more exciting or terrifying for when it really happens.

For me, I’ve been an off and on quilter, and there have been so many quilters and quilting businesses started in the last 10 years than have in the last 50.  Someone close to me asked me what was unique to my business than other quilting businesses, what was my niche, and I honestly couldn’t answer the question.  I wasn’t doing anything really that would make me stand apart from another quilter, except that I am me.  And me is pretty good!  I realized in not being able to answer the question that, while there are so many other fantastic and skilled quilting personalities out there, I don’t need to reinvent the wheel.

What I need to do is to offer good products at fair and reasonable prices, be a good and honest businesswoman with integrity, and share my quilting experience, expertise (and/or lack of it) with the world that I choose to share it with.  My business officially launched online on November 1st and I am looking forward to a full busy few weeks coming up.  

We are going to be launching some Quilting classes online next month and a new beginner’s Block of the Month program at the beginning of the new year.  I’m terrified AND excited all at the same time.  I wasn’t sure I’d actually be able to get here to this point… and yet here I AM.

So here’s to NEW BEGINNINGS!
