I don’t know about you, but I love pomegranates. I look forward every year to them being in season at the grocery store. I did not know that the red, juicy, and sweet covering around the seed was known as an aril. If you are looking to add more fiber to your diet, one cup of arils contain 7 grams of fiber. If you are looking to add a great pop of color to your project then pomegranate would be a good choice. It would be a nice addition to any Valentines Day quilt.
