Last year I stepped out of my quilting comfort zone and made my first two-color quilt using Kona solid colors. I have to confess that I am a creature of comfort and I tend to pick a fabric line that I love and I make an entire quilt out of that line. I’m not very daring and I don’t tend to just go to my stash and start pulling random fabric choices. After I made my first two color quilt, I was hooked. Navy is now one of my go-to colors and I have made several quilts using just Kona Navy and Kona Snow. I guess it’s all about taking baby steps.
