March 14 – If the Pear Fits… Eat It!

March 14th – PEAR

Happy Sunday everyone! So today, I have to help Handsome (my DH) move some desks around in his office. Lots of changes happening – all good.

So Handsome and I have been working on a better health routine. It doesn’t always work but we try. Today’s Kona Cotton color of the day is Pear. A light, healthy looking green, bright and beautiful. Eat a pear today. It’s good for you! I think Pear will work really well with candy pink, candy blue and lemon ice if you are looking for pastel faire bright and eager for spring.

A few important facts about pears according to Mavis Butterfield of Onehundreddollarsamonth.com:

  1. The Bartlett is the most popular pear in the US, but there are over 3,000 varieties in the world.
  2. Pears are considered a hypoallergenic fruit because allergic reactions are VERY rare.
  3. In China, it is bad luck for lovers or friends to share a pear because it may result in a quarrel or separation.

Happy quilting! Get some pears to eat and Kona Cotton Pear fabric to sew. You won’t regret it!
