Today’s Kona color of the day is Dahlia. I love flowers. My favorite flower is Gerber daisies, closely followed by dahlias. According to the Farmer’s Almanac, dahlias are tubers that are planted in the ground in the late spring and the colorful flowers will bloom from midsummer through autumn. If you live in a colder zone you can dig them up and store them if you wish to grow them as perennials.
The soft spring colors in this quilt remind me of dahlias. Using a variety of pinks and purples this stunning quilt would take “Best of Show” in my book.
