May 4 – Sunny Days, Sunny Fabric – Why NOT?

Today’s Kona Cotton color of the day is Sunny.

And I am reminded yet again of a song from the 70’s, entitled…. you guessed it – Sunny

Here is the first verse and lyric from the song.

“Sunny, yesterday my life was filled with rain
Sunny, you smiled at me and really eased the pain

Oh, the dark days are done and the bright days are here
My sunny one shines so sincere
Oh, Sunny one so true, I love you”

It’s such a great song! I know, the 70’s…. Technically the song was written and performed in 1966 by Bobby Hebb. But, it was performed again in 1972. Check it out here.

YEAH. Like THAT. I need some sunshine in my life. I get it from Handsome, my kids, grandkids, friends, other family and quilting.

Let’s see if we can make some sunshine in a quilt… yes? Yes!

Yes. That’s it. Bright. Cheerful. And with just the right amount of sunshine speckled through it.
