Today’s Kona color of the day is Ash. Ash is another one of my go to colors if I am looking to add a light grey color to my project. There are so many different shades of grey and silver to choose from, and it really depends on what I am working on as to which one I will choose.
A few years back we were experiencing a large forest fire in the Columbia River Gorge and we happened to be dining out at a reaturaunt about 50 miles away. While we were sitting outside we noticed a fine powdery dust covering the tables, patio umbrellas, and every imaginable surface. It was ash that was in the air from the fires that was being carried across the state. This is not the type of ash I ever want to experience. I much prefer today’s color- Kona Ash.
This is a project that I have been working on using Kona Ash, Rich Red, and White.
