Today’s Kona cotton color of the day is Dragon Fruit.
Dragon Fruit is a bright, pink, pop of color that is sassy and playful.
I can’t say that I have ever eaten dragon fruit as a fruit, but I have had it in a cider. According to Healthline.com dragon fruit grows on the Hylocereus cactus, also known as the Honolulu queen, whose flowers only open at night. It is grown all over the world, but is native to Mexico and Central America. The two most common types have bright red skin with green scales that resemble a dragon. It has a white pulp with black seeds. Dragon fruit may look exotic, but its flavors are similar to other fruits and described as a slightly sweet cross between and kiwi and a pear.

I would love to know if you have tried dragon fruit.
