June 10th- Lime- Put the Lime in the Coconut

Today’s Kona cotton color of the day is Lime.

All I could think about when I saw that today’s color was Lime were the words from the 1971 song by Harry Nilsson. Coconut is a novelty song that was on the US Billboard charts for 14 weeks according to Wikipedia. It is about a woman who has a stomach ache and when she calls her doctor he prescribes the same drink that gave her the stomach ache in the first place. Her and her brother concoct a drink of lime and coconut.

Our Lime fabric however will not give you a stomach ache. It is a medium green color that goes well with all the colors of the rainbow.
