Today’s Kona cotton color of the day is Glacier.
When I think of the word glacier the first thing that comes to mind is Glacier National Park, which is located in northwest Montana. I have never visited this park, but from the pictures that I have seen it looks like it would be a beautiful place to visit and hike. One of the items on my bucket list is to visit all 50 states, and I am currently almost two thirds of the way there. I have been to 29 of the 50 states, but I have not made it to Montana yet. Besides North Dakota, South Dakota, and Montana I have pretty much covered the west, even if it has just been driving through to a final destination. I guess for now I will have to find my happy place with this color.
Glacier is a dark teal color. This would be a great color to play with a monochromatic color scheme. This quilt is a perfect example of how the different colors come together from the lightest Sea Mist to the darkest Everglade, with Glacier coming in right before Everglade.
