June 16th- I Have a Bone to Pick With You….

Today’s Kona Cotton color of the day is Bone.

I asked Handsome to help with this post. He asked me what the color of the day was. When I told him he said it sounded “down to earth” to him. I told him I was serious and that it needed to be a serious post. To which he replied, “I’m just an old dinosaur of a man.”

So before I started typing, he says… actually, I have a bone to pick with you….. Of course he did. He IS the punny man in our relationship. So I asked him what the problem was and he said that I don’t laugh at his jokes anymore. Of course I don’t! I’ve heard them all, I can’t tell you how many times in 38 years. He said…. ok. I have one more for you. Being the good and dutiful wife, I said alright…. it better be a good one. He said, what do you call it when you hit your funny bone at night? Before I even gave that “oh-boy-here-it-comes” look, he responds, DARK HUMOR. I asked him…. WHY does EVERYTHING with you HAVE to be HUMERUS? He just looked at me, smirked and said…. good one. Me? I’m constantly rolling my eyes. Seriously, if I had kept the conversation going… I would have heard EVERY bad dad joke or pun known to mankind…. because he often can have a grave sense of humor.

Well, whatever makes him happy! And he does make me laugh so I’m still a very happy wife. Happy wife, happy life, right?
