Today’s Kona cotton color of the day is Paprika.
I have to say that I don’t have very many recipes that I make that call for paprika, yet somehow I have two different jars of paprika in my spice cabinet. One is just the plain old paprika from McCormick and the other is Smoked Spanish Style from Penzey”s. I will add a dash to my deviled eggs or my eggs benedict to zing them up a bit. I also make goulash once in awhile and will add some paprika. So if you have any uses for paprika, please share.
Today’s color is more of a reddish brown and looks more like the Smoked Spanish Style from Penzeys rather that the McCormick. Yes, I just shook them out to see how the two colors compared. Now I’m craving something spiced with paprika.
