Fabric, Kona Cottons

July 12th- Old Green- Long in the Tooth

Today’s Kona cotton is Old Green.

I’m sorry, but who names a color Old Green. I love this color, and if I was going to name it I would call it Experienced Green, Knowledgeable Green, Mature Green, or maybe even Venerated Green. Who wants to be known as Old Green, not me.

This is probably one of my favorite shades of green. I’m sorry to say that I have packed my color chart away so you will have to trust me when I say that this is a great color. I don’t have a quilt to share with you today, but when I get settled in my new place, I am certainly going to give this color some respect and make something with it.

Let us know what is on your cutting table today.
