July 23rd- Key Lime…. Not JUST Pie!

Today’s Kona Cotton color of the day is Key Lime.

This is a VERY bright lime-ish green.

Let’s not waste time, a’ight? Good stuff is coming! The quilt below is beautifully colorful but includes Key Lime. It was designed by Marilyn Foreman for Robert Kaufman. I love this one so much, it’s hard to stop staring at it, taking in every colorful piece! You can purchase her pattern here.

But the best thing I love about Key Lime is Key Lime Pie and how simple and easy it is to make. It’s Handsome’s FAVORITE pie in the whole wide world.

This recipe is by Ann Richardson and can be found here. There are only 5 ingredients, but it makes the best freaking pie! The secret…. is adding the sour cream! That’s what makes it so yummy. And it only takes 8 minutes to bake. Start to finish in 20 minutes or less. How easy is that?

But let’s not digress…. you definitely NEED to get this pie as well as this fabric in your life!
