Today’s Kona cotton color of the day is Acid Lime.
WOW! That is all I have to say about this color. It is shockingly bright as a stand alone color, but pair it with teal, orange, pink, and some white and you have a fantastic color combination.
Today’s quilt is from designer Elizabeth Hartman. I think I have said it before, but she is such a fun and sweet person. I had the opportunity to meet her several years ago in Portland. She was doing a trunk show at one of the local fabric stores and my daughter and I had the chance to go and hear her speak. She showcased many of her quilts and talked about how she started sewing and some of the materials that she used. I have several of her patterns and have completed one of her designs and I have another two as WIP. In this quilt she incorporates today’s color Acid Lime, and balances it perfectly with the Kona cotton Color of the Year 2019 Splash, Jungle, and Snow.
