Today’s Kona cotton color of the day is Windsor.
What came to mind today as I was thinking about the color Windsor was the town of Windsor. So I had to look up more about this and here is what I discovered. Windsor is a town on the River Thames in southeast England, located about an hour west of central London. It is home to Windsor Castle, a residence of the British Royal Family. Windsor Castle is the largest and oldest inhabited castle in the world. It was built nearly 1000 years ago and is a proper fortress. If you want to know if the Queen is in residence you can tell by looking at which flag is raised. The Royal Standard is raised as soon as she gets there and lowered once she leaves to be replaced by the Union Jack. This is certainly a place I would like to visit. I have been to a few castles in Germany, but I would definitely add this one to my bucket list.
Windsor is a navy blue and even though it is dark, it is not the darkest of navy colors that Kona has to offer.
