August 27th – Sprout

Today’s Kona Cotton color of the day is Sprout. Sprout is a super bright yellowish-green.

Sprout, according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary is defined as such: as a transitive verb, sprout means 1. to grow, spring up, or come forth as or as if a sprout, 2. to send out new growth; as a noun, 1. shoot (as a young shoot), 2. something resembling a sprout.

This green is SUPER bright. It would go well with black and a medium green for a great contrast, but also will work well with other greens, like in the quilt Radiant, by Quilting Renditions for Robert Kaufman Fabrics.
