Today’s Kona Cotton color of the day is Sprout. Sprout is a super bright yellowish-green.
Sprout, according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary is defined as such: as a transitive verb, sprout means 1. to grow, spring up, or come forth as or as if a sprout, 2. to send out new growth; as a noun, 1. shoot (as a young shoot), 2. something resembling a sprout.
This green is SUPER bright. It would go well with black and a medium green for a great contrast, but also will work well with other greens, like in the quilt Radiant, by Quilting Renditions for Robert Kaufman Fabrics.

Let us know how you would use sprout in a quilt! We’d love to hear from you. Leave us a comment below and let us know what kind of things you would like us to post on our blog.
