Fabric, Kona Cottons

August 31st- Leaf

Today’s Kona cotton color of the day is Leaf.

Unfortunately I do not have a lot to say today. We have been busy in the studio finishing up some sample quilts and a couple of gift quilts, but our long-arm is available if you would like for us to finish anything for you. We should be getting another shipment of Kona cottons in the next few days, which will complete the entire line of Kona solids. I was never a solid quilter until about a year ago, and I made Shadow Quilt as a sample for the studio. Since then I have been hooked. I still like my prints, but I am using more solids. I am also experimenting with colors that go together and playing with the color wheel.

Leaf is a medium green color that I would pair with peaches and greys. I think this would be a great color combination. I have something in mind for this great combination, but I have not worked out all of the details yet.

Kona Leaf, Creamsicle, Med. Grey, and Snow
