Today’s Kona Cotton color of the day is Steel. Steel is a medium shade of grey with oh so many possibilities!
When I was a kid, I used to watch reruns of the original Superman series on TV afterschool. It was called the Adventures of Superman starring George Reeves. It ran 6 seasons. It wasn’t that it was my favorite show or anything; it was the only thing interesting other than talk shows that were on after school. And for awhile as a pre-teen…. it beat doing homework right away. Doing homework was utilized when household chores or babysitting was necessary. “Clear the table and do the dishes? Sorry mom, I’ve got this report due tomorrow. I need to get a good grade.” Blah, Blah, Blah.
Yeah, I used to watch the show, then play at the piano for about 20 minutes and then I would ACTUALLY DO my homework. I didn’t love homework, but I really did like getting good grades.
And just for a fun FYI, George Reeves and Christopher Reeves were not related and Christopher Reeves and Keanu Reeves are also not related.
