September 10th – Lapis

Today’s Kona Cotton color of the day is Lapis. Lapis is a medium to dark blue with hints of purple underneath.

Lapis Lazuli, Lapis for short, is a deep-blue metamorphic rock used as a semi-precious stone and prized for it’s intense color, according to Britannica.com.

I don’t have a lot to say, but I would never turn down jewelry in this color.

Check out this quilt below featuring Lapis.

You can’t go wrong when you pair Lapis with Amethyst, Lavender, White, Cornflower, and Princess.

This quilt’s dimensions are approximately 51″ x 68″.
