September 16th- Breeze

Today’s Kona cotton color of the day is Breeze.

I don’t know about you, but I am ready for a nice fall breeze.I moved from Oregon this summer and spent the last few days there packing in 115 degree heat with no air conditioning, and then I moved to Texas, where at least we have air. Now mind you I am always cold, so the heat will bother me if I am outside, but I don’t mind being a bit warm. However, I am ready for some cooler temperatures and some nice fall breezes so that I can open up the windows again and enjoy some fresh air.

Speaking of enjoying fresh air this quilt is a breath of fresh air, I love how all of the blues come together. Thirteen different blues in all along with Iron and White complete this quilt. Techniques for this quilt include flying geese, half-square triangles, hourglass blocks, and square-in-a-square blocks. I would enjoy snuggling under this quilt if there was a breeze.
