September 18th- Bubble Gum, Bubble Gum in a Dish

Today’s Kona cotton color of the day is Bubble Gum.

When I was in grade school one of the things I remember doing during recess was jumping rope. One of the more popular jump rope songs or jingle that we repeated over and over was:

Bubble gum, bubble gum, in a dish

How many pieces do you wish?

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10……

Others included Teddy Bear Teddy Bear and Cinderella dressed in yellow. We also played endless hours of four square along with mastering the monkey bars. So many fun childhood memories.

Today’s color is a medium pink color that is fun and playful. Speaking of fun and playful check out the Stars and Hearts quilt by Elise Lea. It features lots of different shades that work well together.
