November 4th – Kick Some Asparagus

Today’s Kona cotton color of the day is Asparagus.

I like asparagus, especially if I can talk my husband into making Hollandaise sauce for on top. I grew up eating it out of a can, which was limp and really not my thing. However when I was older I discovered that you could buy it fresh in the store and it was so much better. If you do eat asparagus you always know it later in the day. I’m not going to go into details but those of you who eat it know what I am talking about.

Today’s color is a lighter green with a grey or olive undertone. It works well with other greens, but I would also use it with some of the peach colors or yellows. Let us know if we can kit this quilt for you.
