Today’s Kona cotton color of the day is Orangeade.
I love oranges if they are juicy and sweet. I’m sure there is a season for buying oranges but I’m not sure I could tell you when that is. I know when my kids were growing up and they played AYSO soccer in the fall it was customary for the parents to sign up each week to provide oranges for the half-time and a snack or treat for after the game. It always seemed that September and October were not the ideal time to buy oranges. I don’t think the kids minded though because they could munch through them in no time flat.
Today’s color is a medium orange. The color almost reminds me of the candy orange slices that are coated in sugar. The Sundown quilt uses a mix of oranges and reds to create a sunset.
