Today’s Kona cotton color of the day is Desert Green.
I am more rested today from my quick trip and I am slowly catching up at work. The weather in Illinois this past weekend was chilly and definitely quilt weather. I have a few more quilts to finish up as gifts for the year and then I can focus more on quilting for me again. I have several quilts that I want to make for myself and it seems that every time I turn around another line of fabric is coming out or a new pattern is being released. Quilt shop owners place orders for fabric months or even a year in advance. We have been purchasing fabric that won’t even ship until next July or August and even beyond.
Today’s color Desert Green is a light green with a subtle grey undertone. I love this color. It might possibly be one of my new favorite colors. Today’s quilt is beginner friendly and would make a great gift for someone. If we can kit this quilt for you, let us know.
