Today’s Kona Cotton color of the day is Riviera. A rich, deep blue that makes you think of lush and luxurious get-a-ways.
According to makemytrip.com, the French Riviera, located in the south of France off the coast of the mediterranean, is one of the most popular tourist spots in the world. Nice, France is the largest city on the riviera. The riviera has a wonderfully mild, climate that boasts of 300 sun-filled days per year. I would say that Texas probably runs a very close second to that. Although we have a relatively mild climate here, it does get tremendously hot through the summer.
Needless to say, when you want to go on a trip to a fun place, go to your local quilt shop, which is a quilter’s riviera.
Enjoy putting Riviera into your next project. And there is nothing like a feathered star to get you started!
