June 1st- Melon- You’re One in a Melon

Today’s Kona cotton color of the day is Melon.

I happen to love watermelon, but I don’t buy it as often as I should now that it is just the two of us at home. I remember as a child sitting out on the back porch eating watermelon with my brother or other neighborhood friends. With the juice running down our arms and chins it was always fun to see who could spit the seeds the furthest. I do not recall who was the best, but I do know there was lots of laughter and memories being made.

Today’s color is just as sweet. It is a reddish pink that is just like the inside of a ripe watermelon. It plays well with Candy Pink, Bubblegum, Peony, Cardinal, Fog, and Storm.
