Today’s Kona cotton color of the day is Quicksilver.

Quicksilver is a soft silver color that looks like it has some blue under tones. It is not the lightest silver that Kona has to offer and it is certainly not the darkest.

Unfortunately friends I do not have a lot to say today. I am in the process of moving from the PNW to Texas in the next month. But in order for that to happen several events must occur. Our daughter is also moving from the PNW to Ohio and next week she is packing up her belongings and I will drive with her half way across the country. We plan on stopping and seeing her brother for a few days and a few other relatives along the way. After spending a week on the road I will fly back to Oregon and finish packing up anything that I have not gotten to and then my husband and I will drive to Texas. To say that I have a little stress in my life would be an understatement, so I am going to leave you with this calming quilt. It is assembled using strip piecing and the fabrics are calming shades of greys and silvers.
