June 21st- Down in the Deep Blue Sea

Today’s Kona Cotton color of the day is Deep Blue.

I think the color is pretty self-explanatory. Deep Blue is exactly that. Deep. Blue.

This blue is such a gorgeous color and while I think a lot of truly beautiful two color quilts are often done in red and white, or green and white, I still believe that blue and white make the best.

Just like the one below. And even though the second quilt is not strictly a two-color quilt, it gives a broad ability to add just that little pop of color to bring a whole new meaning to the crashing waves of quilting.

It doesn’t matter how many colors you add to a quilt or how few…. just start quilting and enjoy the process and the creativity involved.
