June 26th- Nightfall- Twinkle, Twinkle. Little Star

Today’s Kona cotton color of the day is Nightfall.

One of the things I love most about summer is how long the days are. Right now it does not get dark until just about ten o’clock at night, and I love that time when the sun is setting and it is just starting to get dark. That is what I think of as nightfall. One of the things that I do miss about not living in the Midwest is the fireflies. I’m not sure if you have them where you happen to live, but for a few weeks, just as nightfall begins the fireflies or lightening bugs come out and put on a show. Last week I happened to be in St. Louis and I got to see fireflies again. I guess I will always be a kid at heart, but I enjoyed seeing them again since it

Nightfall is a deep, dark color that is not quite a blue and not quite a purple, but pairs will with a lot of the different shades of blue that Kona has to offer.
