Today’s Kona Cotton color of the day is Leprechaun.
It seems like this is the color that should have been shown around St Paddy’s Day in March, but here it is. Leprechaun is a mid-deep rich and lively green that will brighten anyplace you put it.
My family used to tease me a little about being like a leprechaun because I’m short and have Irish roots. My great-grandmother’s family was from Ireland. When I was younger, I always wished I was taller, but now that I’m older, I’ve come to terms with my shortness.
Let’s take a look at some quilts that feature leprechaun.

Or what about this one, Irish Fade. It’s a wonderfully easy Irish Chain. Seems fitting to me!

But why stop there? Go for broke, I say! So in this next pattern, the color shown is Enchanted, which was Robert Kaufman’s 2020 Color of the Year, but all you have to do is substitute Leprechaun in it’s place and you’ve got a family loving, quilt community clapping quilt on your hands. Do it. Don’t say no. You know you want to!!

Let us know if you’ve kissed the blarney stone and caught a leprechaun to get your pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Of course the pot of gold, is loads and loads of fantastic fabrics! Go solid and never go back. You can get Leprechaun here on our website.
