Today’s Kona cotton color of the day is Sky.
I love looking at the sky. It is ever changing and fascinating to me. Sometimes it is just a clear blue with not a cloud to be seen, and other times there are big puffy clouds or storm clouds. How many times did you lay on your back and look up at the sky and try and make out pictures in the clouds. I know the sky looks different in different part of the world. I snapped this recent picture as I was about to take off from O’Hare. It always amazes me that when I go back to the Midwest the sky goes on forever and you can see for miles. The perfect sky for me is a clear blue without any clouds.
Today’s Sky is just that. It is a very light blue that would pair will with many of the other blues that Kona has to offer. I would even throw in some light pinks and purples to create a stunning quilt that represents the big blue sky.
