Today’s Kona cotton color of the day is Ivory.
I have the song Ebony and Ivory by Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder playing in my head right now which would make Ivory the perfect harmony in this quilt by Liesl Gibson for Robert Kaufman Fabrics. This quilt is made with foundation paper piecing. I have played with this technique just a little bit, so I am not an expert on this subject by any means. It is something that I would like to practice more and improve my skills because this is a fun quilt.
Ivory is a light beige or taupe color, which makes it a great choice for a background. I would definitely use it with many of the great prints out there, or pair it with different Kona solids.
