Today’s Kona cotton color of the day is Zinc.
I do not do a lot of modern quilting. My quilting tends to be more traditional, following repeating designs or symmetry, adding borders and sashing. I do however like modern quilts and I would like to start branching out. The Adore-La quilt just might be the place to start.
It features Zinc as one of the petals or leaves. Zinc is a medium grey with just a slight subtle hint of a brown undertone. It is a nice neutral color and is featured here with Foxglove, Ballet Slipper, Gotham Grey, Overcast, and Doeskin. I also have never done curves in quilting. I have done plenty in clothing construction though. (Shh…. don’t tell anyone)
