Today’s Kona cotton color of the day is Dusty Peach.
So I am thinking to myself what is the difference between Peach and Dusty Peach. I expected them to be right next to each other on the shelf, so imagine my surprise when I found the Dusty Peach in with the other pinks, because it is more of a pink than peach. We carry all 365 colors of Kona cotton in the studio, and I spent some time this week rearranging bolts of fabric because we got more bookshelves in and assembled them. I might be just a little bit obsessive compulsive but I do like to keep the fabric in the same order as the Kona color chart. With that many colors it is sometimes hard to remember exactly what a certain color actually looks like.
Dusty Peach is featured in the Migratory quilt along with the Kona Cotton Color of the Year 2017 Flamingo. I’m not sure if you will still find Flamingo around or maybe you have some in your stash, but I would replace it with Melon and I think you would have a stunning combination.
