December 19th – Overcast – Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs

Today’s Kona cotton color of the day is Overcast.

I like the color grey and shades of grey. Kathleen would probably tell you that grey is my favorite color. It is not, however, I do use a lot of grey and shades of grey when I am quilting. I do not really have a favorite color as I have mentioned before. I tend to like what ever color I am working with at the moment. Right now it does happen to be a combination of grey, orange, and green – think of autumn and falling leaves, not Halloween.

Today’s color Overcast is no exception. It is a medium grey that looks like the sky when it is about ready to rain. I love this quilt and it is certainly one that is on my ever growing list of quilts that I would like to make.
